ZooGenes and Openzoo: The Next Chapter for Your NFTs!

We’re thrilled to announce the next chapter for ZooGenes as we transition them to Avalanche’s C-chain, ensuring greater accessibility and potential for NFT holders.

Starting December 20, 2024, all trading of ZooGenes on OpenZoo.io will cease, marking the end of an incredible chapter on Wanchain. On December 21, a snapshot of all ZooGenes holdings will be taken at block number 36,180,000, and by December 25, ZooGenes will be reminted on Avalanche C-chain.

These reminted ZooGenes will then be listed on Opensea, opening up a broader market with enhanced liquidity and visibility for their owners.

The best part? There’s nothing you need to do! Your ZooGenes will be automatically airdropped to the same wallet address holding them during the snapshot. Simply sit back and relax as we handle the entire migration process for you.

As we close this chapter, OpenZoo.io, our NFT marketplace, will officially shut down on December 25. Trading will be disabled from this date, and we encourage all users to finalize any pending transactions before then.

ZooBoosters and ZooElixirs

While ZooGenes will embark on their exciting new journey on Avalanche, ZooBoosters and ZooElixirs will see their evolution in future phases. Plans are underway to allow owners to swap these NFTs for in-game assets that will retain their original stats and qualities. Additionally, we are working on introducing even more in-game use cases, ensuring that these assets remain valuable and continue to offer unique experiences in the gaming ecosystem.

This strategic shift to Avalanche’s C-chain and Opensea reflects our commitment to offering better scalability, usability, and liquidity for your NFTs.
