GameStake: The Heart of PGU’s Reward System

GameStake is the central mechanism for rewarding players within the PLYR ecosystem. By connecting player activity, staking, and community participation with real rewards, GameStake creates an innovative and engaging way to distribute tokens earned from PGU (PLYR Gaming Universe) transaction fees. It’s not just a reward system; it’s an integrated model that fosters participation, competition, and the growth of our ecosystem.

The POWA Points System

The core of GameStake lies in the POWA points. These points are generated based on a player’s activity within the ecosystem, creating a dynamic and fair way to rank players. The calculation of POWA points is rooted in the difference between what a player spends and what they earn. This ensures that high spenders who also win big are rewarded accordingly, while those who lose less are still rewarded for their efforts. Here’s how it works:

• A player who spends $1,000 and earns $500 has a differential of $500. This results in a positive POWA ranking, giving the player a respectable position in the leaderboard.
• On the other hand, a player who spends $1,000 and earns $5,000 will have a differential of $4,000, boosting them to the top of the rankings.
• A player who spends $1,000 and earns $1,000 has a differential of 0, meaning their rank remains neutral.

This mechanism ensures that players who have the potential to generate the most value for the ecosystem are recognized, encouraging smart play and engagement. The POWA system doesn’t just reward wins, it also values the effort and investment of each player.

POWA score is recorded on-chain in a smart contract. It updates daily and only the last 10 days of on-chain transactions are recorded and aggregated. The algorithm used to calculate the score will remain confidential, known only to the core PLYR members. It can be adjusted anytime if needed.

Incentivizing Engagement: How Rewards are Distributed

GameStake’s rewards come directly from the transaction fee of PGU activity, which is distributed among the GameStake Pools.

The transaction fee of the PGU will be reconsidered once GameStake is launched. Currently, 2% of transaction fees go to GameStake, but increasing it to 5% would ensure better rewards for players (Fees are usually deducted from winning transactions).

Players who participate in the GameStake program are eligible for rewards based on their POWA points and rank.

Here’s how it works: once a player is eligible for rewards, they can choose how to allocate their POWA to farm rewards in different pools. For example, a player can allocate 50% of their POWA to the GAMR reward pool, and 50% to a different token reward pool, like $COQ or $AVAX. This allows for a flexible, player-driven reward system where each user has control over how they want to be rewarded.

This system is especially useful because it ensures that rewards are distributed to the players who are actively participating in the ecosystem, creating a more engaged and committed community. The more players participate, the more rewards flow into the ecosystem, incentivizing continued interaction and growth.

In addition to the base POWA points, which are determined by the difference between a player’s spending and earnings, there are various ways to boost these points temporarily. For example, players can stake GAMR, our native game token, to increase their POWA score, providing an extra incentive for holding and staking the token.

Moreover, daily missions are available, offering players additional boosts to their POWA points by completing specific in-game tasks or challenges. These boosts are temporary but give players an edge to increase their rank and ultimately maximize their potential rewards.

Players with PLYR[ID+] will also see an increased POWA score, thanks to the additional perks tied to this premium version of PLYR[ID].
